the g303 and g502 are the only mice that have the the 3366 sensor which is widely considered the best sensor on the market by most mice enthusiasts.  The G502 is larger with a base weight of i think around 120 grams not including the cable, it has a lot of features like the ability to make it heavier and 11 customizable buttons, and 2 different modes for the scroll wheel. The g303 is much smaller and lighter, just like 89 or 90 grams not including the weight of the cable, just 2 side buttons, spring tensioned lmb and rmb, the best lmb and rmb clicks in the industry imo. Great glide.  Basically think of the g502 is a luxury sports car, and then the g303 is just a sports car. The g502 adds features that aren't necessary and just get in the way for serious gaming, but are wildly popular with casual gamers. While the g303 is simplified and focused on function more than luxury or feature list.

I have a g502 and have been using it for the past year...I really love it, everything about it is great. I'm thinking about moving to a rival 300 next week though as I think I may be suited to a larger mouse.
