Are these temperature even safe? [Laptop]

post-82104-0-08831300-1452758075_thumb.p

i got this laptop a couple years ago (2012 i think) it got an i5-3210M and when i downloaded a temperature software because of the laptop feel hot. boom! 100C on full load!! 64C on idle! i was like WTF.

are these temp save ? should i get it cleaned out and put a brand new thermal paste ? i will go to HP ( the manufacture of the laptop) for putting a new thermal paste and cleaned out if the answer is yes. is this normal tho ? can i bring my own thermal paste to the service center ? i just need the service of dismantling my laptop, clean the cooler and putting the thermal paste if necessary.

Those temps are not good. Cleaning out dust and applying new thermal paste is a good idea(if you have HP do it though they will use their own thermal paste).

Just cleaning it would fix a lot of issues. but you should not have to redo the thermal paste unless this was an issue since you first got it.
