Hey im looking for a pair of closed back over ear headphones. Im using the razer kraken. And i would really like some new headphones, i listen to ALOT of music. I dont need any heavy bass (as i wont be using these for much gaming). I just want the best i can get for $200. I listen to hiphop,jazz,classic,dub.. most things really. I was looking at the audio technica m50x. Those ok? Thanks in advance for you help :)

Im buying a modmic for them... so the sound leakage

Ou could buy a decent little cardioid mic like the Blue Yeti.

I have a modmic and HD598SE's. It doesn't pick up anything. At all. Even top volume while I'm talking and the mic is 100% definitly activated.

The Yeti picks up MORE background noise...

Beyerdynamic DT 770, but open-back would do a lot better and won`t pick up that much sounds, less than you think

Put a pop filter and set it to cardioid mode. It won't pick up much.

pop filter has literally nothing to do with that. Keep it low volume and close to your mouth to compensate for said low volume. THAT helps. Also using a dynamic mic would help even more as they tend not to pick up much background noise in comparison to a condenser.

New favorite song, sit back and enjoy.

A pop filter won't affect that very much. A Yeti will still pick up a lot of background noise. A modmic won't. A yeti will also sound better. There are tradeoffs.

Not for me with that setup, no. I use skype and teamspeak.
