Laptop for youtube/writing papers and possible gaming.

Mallowpuffs

CPU - Lenovo

GPU - Asus

Build - Lenovo (Z-series is the lower-budget Y-series versions and both are worlds better than any Asus cheapo at this price)

Alright, Thanks guys. We should've ordered already, but I'm taking one more look. Right now, it's the Z51.

A friend from high school was looking at that one but I don't have his number, else I'd call him

Well, I've done a last look. It was it vs the Acer, and the acer has too many bad things going for it. Guess I'll email her that one.

Thanks for the help!

84*C on the Z50 vs 97*C on the Acer. That's a vast difference

It's here!

I'm not going to play with it until my sister is back from the library(maybe)

But it looks sweet! The design of it is actually really cool, and the whole bottom of the inside, where to keyboard is, is metal. Only part that doesn't feel super sturdy is the top where if you try to open it from a corner it flexes a little. But other than that it looks like a very well built laptop. Quite a bit of metal.

4, but as dan said not much goes over that.

That's the other problem, no easy way to get to the RAM and battery. I would think it would void the warranty to take the back off if if we ever did need to upgrade RAM.

Enjoy :)

If it was mine. ;)

No worries, I'll still enjoy it when I can. ;)

If there are "warranty void" stickers then yes, you cannot. Some laptops CAN be opened though.

I would maybe take it to a Lenovo certified computer store/fixing shop and get them to do it because then it should not loose warranty not sure.

But great laptop for the price.

It has no stickers so I guess that is possible. If I was going too, I'd call Lenovo first and check.

Best option. Check with the shop/Lenovo. That's what I intend to do with my Y50 when I decide to upgrade (The B50 has a quick access panel so it should be fine ;)
