EK Predator 360 any good?

Hello forum members,

I'm looking to purchase the EK Predator 360, although it seems there aren't that many reviews for the device.

And the ones that are available seem to to point to the H110i GTX being better.

Anyone have experience with this?

It is a very good cooler. It is also expandable if you want to cool you GPUs.
Here is a review from a very good source.http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/ek-predator-360-aio-cpu-gpu-liquid-cooling-review,1.html
The Corsair one seems to be slightly better but the parts are not as nice and it is not expandable.

Good? yes

Insanely stupidly ridiculously not worth buying for the price? yes

Seriously though, the thing isn't really even that expandable because it doesn't come with enough QCD's to properly daisy-chain parts.

If your case supports it, just get a good 280 AIO (like the h110i GTX or NZXT x61) instead and buy some decent fans and it will preform just as well per noise.

Do you know why this is true?

2X 140mm vs 3X 120mm with a thicker radiator?

Yeah, that's very true.

I do understand why it's the price that it is, but it's double the price of the H110I GTX.

And, If I'm not really going to expand, I will probably just go for the H100i GTX.

I do not. I am a bit confused by that myself. Could have to do with pump speed maybe?

A 280mm rad has only 10% less surface area over a 360mm rad. (360*120/(280*140))

140mm fans can push up to 50% more air per unit noise over 120mm fans so overall the performance difference tends to be super minimal.
