Detailed, sharp, clear, full of reverb, click bar switches sound awesome.

Then you have click jacket switches which sound tinny, weak, short, and plasticky.

Yeah, there's no comparison between click jacket switches and these Glazed Greens. Click bar just sounds way sharper and less like plastic rattling around.

Both of those use Bluetooth to establish a wireless connection to the computer

I'm not really a fan, despite being the Tealios V2's number 1 fan.

The boutique Tealio switch doesn't look like it would have any discernible differences between the Tiffany blue and clear housings. The new weightings are odd as well, I'm used to 67g from my regular Tealios V2, anything less than 65g feels empty and too short.

I would be inclined to buy some boutique Tealios V2 if the housings are made of a smoother mould, akin to the Gateron Ink Black versus regular Blacks. I would then have to spring-swap the 65g boutique Tealios (I like that darker blue) to 70g TX springs.

They are new molds which in theory should make them smoother than normal tealios.

Okay, now you have my attention... I don't know how you could get even smoother than properly-lubed Tealios, but if the new molds elevate the smoothness, count me in.

I am hesitant to spend another $70 + shipping on potentially smoother switches that will replace my already-smooth switches.

If anyone is interested in getting a reasonably priced 65% keyboard then the CU65 might interest you. It features an all aluminum integrated case that supports both ANSI and ISO. It also has a hot-swap PCB in case you want to switch switches every week or so.

If you are interested, check it out: https://caps-unlocked.com/group-buy-cu65/

Things to note:

- This is a group buy, so you won't get this anytime soon. Fulfillment is in 2 months after the group buy phase.

- The kit includes the case, PCB, rubber foot and a cable. Buyers would need to get switches, keycaps and stabilizers. They are offering to bundle in switches and stabs if you are so inclined.

- Supports both PCB and plate mounted switches.

- Supports QMK.

- I'm not affiliated with this vendor. I'm just advertising it since some of you should interest in the custom keyboard world.

No need to replace anything. Just build an entirely new keyboard.
