Any Good Free Screen Recorders for Windows 10?

UGame_

I need some help with some software experts, because I am just getting into youtube and want a good screen recording software that I can get for free that works w/ windows 10. If you know of any, please post below. Also, I have tried IceCream and Fraps, both I didn't like. Fraps didn't work with windows 10, IceCream didn't record the audio and I had the audio option on.

Remember, has to be Windows 10 compatible.

OBS, Shadowplay.

OBS is a really powerful program and it's free.

OBS?

Seconding this. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it is by far the best free screen recording/streaming software I have come across.

The Cheap SFF Wonder -- Turning a Core 2 Duo SFF machine into a useful member of computer society!

i5 3570 -- AS.Rock Z77 Pro3 -- 12GB DDR3 -- R9 380X -- 840Evo 500GB/1TB HDD

I speak the honest truth with a bit of snark mixed in. I'm sorry if it doesn't line up with your beliefs.

ya, but it's limited, OBS is probably a little glitchier and harder to use, but it's completely free.

You have a Nvidia GPU, use shadowplay manual desktop recording and turn up the bitrate.

Shadowplay is built into GeForce experience.

why would you use a program that does only 720p for free when there is an unlimited one?

Did you Try Windows 10 built-in one as suggested by Arty?

Just hit Win+G on any program or game, and the XBox Recorder will fire up.You can record up to 2h per recording.

Settings for the recording are found in the XBox App in Windows 10.

VSDC Free screen recorder, best free screen recorder I have ever used (I run Windows 10), the company also makes the best free video editor and video converter.

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)
