Not really worth replacing a 650 Ti for that.

Why, it seems to perform marginally better and the last update it got was the Beta Crimson driver which is fine with me?

For that, just save for a 380.

Those are like double the price ;-;

7850 ~= R9 270, no? (Someone told me that)

the 270 is the 7870(i think)

A 6950 is on par with a 7850. A 650 Ti is in between a 260X and a 7850.

Are Powercolor R9 270s worth picking up?

What I was told was:

7970 = 280X

7950 = 280

7870 = 270X

7850 = 270

c:

apart from the 7850, the others are correct, the 270x is just an OC 7870 ghz edition.

the normal 270 is the normal 7870

the 7850 is the r7 265

roughly, all previous gen cards have slightly lower clocks so get an aftermarket one that clocks decent and you're at the 200 series ones

That's a bigger step in the right direction. Is the price right?

Not sure that's probably up to someone who has more experience with older cards. My first big jump was from a 560 ti straight to an R9 290 "used 650 ti temporairly between that" Though my friend got a Sapphire R9 270.. The R7 370 costs a bit more but seems to be a worse card overall. My main computer's going to have the R9 290 in it of course but I have 4 motherboards total and want to start making machines out of them. Probably gonna pair the 270/6970 whatever I get with an 8320

Any better deals?

Edit: will the margins between the R9 270 and the 6970 become even greater with DX12 release? Apparently 6000 series cards aren't supported.

probably not

if you're lucky you could maybe find a 750 ti for $100 but that's worse than the 270

True, was planning on selling my 650 ti 2gb to my friend for $75 or so. Never used PowerColor though.

You can risk getting a 270x powercooler used off ebay from a good seller.  There's one for the same price, but I'd get the 380, personally.  I'm not gunna link it though since that is against the CoC.

PM me? a 380 on Jet.com isn't too bad.
