CS:GO is the best selling game on steam in 2015. Beats GTA V and Fallout 4.

Its fascinating how a garbage game like CS:GO sells so much.Just like LoL it sells due to fame or being popular not because the game is great.

Even call of duty is much more fun than idiotic CS.That game was a blast a decade ago,5milion sales= 5 milion people living in the past.

In my opinion I have been tempted by CS GO simply because I have not found a decently fun shooter go play since BF3 (or even original BlOps) I think it's also because a lot of YouTuber are playing it now (whether you count case opening marathons as playing is a different story altogether).

Because of the massive discount on csgo these days, those pathetic cheating kids just buy bunch of copies and cheat everywhere, not giving a shit to VAC

Even a casual player like me can feel there are MANY more cheaters fucking around than the days which the game costs more than $15

Reasons it's #1

1. Competitive gaming keeps it alive and always relevant. Even before comp. became a thing 1.6 had a really long life.
2. It's the most recognized PC exclusive FPS around
3. While it retails for $20 (still cheap), most times its on sale for -$10
4. A but ton of smuf/boost/hack/etc accounts. I know multiple people that have 3+ copies of CS:GO and I'm sure they're not the only ones. I also know some who have alts to play with less skilled friends, but not as many.

And I'm starting to think hating on Fallout 4 is becoming the new hipster like thing to do on the internet . We get it you have been butt hurt by bethesda. Even if you hated FO4 there are dozens of AAA games that were way worse than FO4 *cough* batman *cough cough* Assassins Creed *cough*

Its easy to run on many more systems than GTA 5 or Fallout 4 and stupid skins for guns are mostly the main reason people even get the game in a first place.... 

An it doesnt cost stupid $60 but 6 times less many times a year because its on sale very often. 


Esports keeps it alive as well

Game itself is very simplistic and heavily skill dependant. People like to challenge/improve themselves.

You can earn small amount of money from drops u get for playing. (I dont know of any other game that can generate you money).

GTA V Was released a while ago on console, so a lot of people already played it... Fallout 4 has been out for less than 2 months and really hasn't been on sale. They both are multi-system (cutting in to PC sales), and people have no reason to buy either of those games more than once.

 

With CS:GO, it's dirt cheap, on sale all the time, and people will have multiple smurf accounts.

Fallout 4 is great game. I think some people don't understand the difference between "great story" and "great game." I haven't beaten Fallout 4 yet, but the gameplay is light years ahead of Fallout 3/NV. It's like playing a fully modded version of Fallout 3 with better graphics.

Bethesda listens to community by incorporating ideas from popular mods. Bethesda gets yelled at. K. (Of course things like dialog aren't as good as 3/NV. The game is still very fun though, and an overall step forward for the franchise. All the dislikes will likely be fixed in the next Fallout game.)

As far as stability, NV runs ok on windows 8+.

3 however is garbage. If you want to play it on anything BUT XP, you have to mod it.

Also going back to vanilla 3/NV? I hope you mean modded. By the time you beat the game, you've seen most of the world, especially in NV. I'm replaying Fallout 3 modded and enjoying it, but I don't think I could stomach playing New Vegas over.

Got Arkham Knight as free code when I bought my 970, returned the gpu and grabbed a 980ti with MGS:V. Also got Witcher 3 when I bought my younger brother a 960. And bought FO4 for $32 lol.

I mean be more pedantic, it's universally known that solo Q is far harder than with a competent team. But because you are arguing you go over common stuff and will just dig to keep yourself relevant. And yeah when you can't rank up in 9 wins in MG1 and winning by large wins not small ones, there is something up.

Even after the ranking shifts, I still have no problem getting my MG accounts back to global despite having to win more games. If you are significantly more skilled than your opponents, you will rank up easily guaranteed. And this is with carrying my friends who do not even deserve to be in the DMG level.
