Very bright! Do you plan on adding a sidepanel window to see the goods?

You know it :)

For some reason I read that as "to please the gods" at first. Maybe because it's early and I haven't completely downloaded my first coffee. :D

Well, look at it this way: At least these days you don't (usually) need to wait a month or two (or hell, sometimes even more) until your parts even start shipping. Things have gotten a lot better (not perfect, but better) since I started out with water cooling and all that.

Yes, I'm old. :P

I will be away the next two weeks so filling the loop will have to wait.

Thanks for checking in.

-snip-

Is that a drainage port leading out the rear of the case?

Also can you post a picture of them bends going into the radiator? Thanks and it looks awesome.

Thanks! Yeah it's a drainage port.

I'm away for two weeks but can post more pics when I get back.

Woo another watercooled NCase M1 build! Glad to see this. The D5 pump combo looks huge in there!

Also is it just me or are Z97 Stingers right now harder to find than a leprechaun riding a unicorn (at reasonable prices, anyway)?

Yeah the pump combo literally had a few mm between it and the side panel. Perfect fit. And yeah I found only one board on amazon priced at 200 CAD (Canadian prices are brutal compared to US)

Wait for the Corsair SF600, the Silverstone SFX 600W has terrible noise issues, i hate mine.

I've already got the Silverstone. If there is any noise in mine I'll just RMA it and get a corsair when it comes out.

So I guess all the pics in this build log got cut out... Well this sucks.

Until I sort this out, for anyone checking this build out, here is a pic of the current status:

So after being away the last few weeks I've finally got it filled up and running. Here's a few pics along with some idle temps.

The two slim Rosewill fans on the 240 rad are shitting the bed. As soon as they ramp up past idle temps they start clicking really loudly non-stop. So I guess I'll have to dismantle the whole loop in order to get them out... Just as I was thinking I was in the clear to do some gaming/any work requiring the fans to spin up :(

This post alone has put me off watercooling a M1 case lol. Have a look at Yate Loon or Gelid fans, I'm pretty sure they do slim fans and they are both pretty reputable.

I watercooled my Ncase back when I had one and what I ended up doing is externally mounting the radiator up top. I used a 280 rad and it pretty much covered the entire top so it didn't look too bad and I didn't have to do any real modding. Just had it sit up top with some double-sided tape.

My plan is to replace the slim fans and have an external rad on the underside of my desk with quick disconnects so I can use the computer away from home too.

I thought the temps were okay with that 240 rad you have installed? idling at 30 degrees right? what were the temps under load?
