Headphones HELP

I was thinking about buying new headphones and I want to get your input on the Sennheiser 363D Gaming headset.

 

I've been thinking about buying this headset for weeks already and I just want to know what's your take on this one.

 

If you guys still have any suggestions, feel free to suggest

 

My budget is around $250

 I would go this route, you could get a Fiio E10 along with it , modmic or blue snowball for the mic (blue snowball because not out of stock and USB so not as bad of compatibility issues in comparison to the modmic)

I think you're thinking he should get a better source if he gets better headphones; getting an amp without first improving your source will only make a bad source louder.

HD5xx series is pretty efficient and doesn't gain much from an amp.

yea, I don't have any amp in my build...

but can you suggest one that works decently and within my budget?

ShearMe is trying to say you don't need one. Anything suggested so far in this thread will get plenty loud on your onboard.

 

Beyerdynamic DT990pro? At 250 Ohms, THAT might need an amp.
