Obviously, this is just 1 sample but it still shows that corsair cheaped out a bit too far on this unit. I still wouldnt recommend the older cx for high end gaming or server systems.

You have to cheap out if you're going to sell it cheaper. Still, that's just one unit. The RMA rates for all CWT made Corsair PSUs have been below 1% since 2014. On the other hand, the RMA rate for Seasonic ones tends to be higher.

 

The Corsair GS units have probably one of the highest RMA rates in history, going just above 10%. All this information is publicly posted by the Tomshardware Germany PSU reviewer.
