Best way to introduce yourself to someone you talk to online

OfficialJsP

Two words/phrases: Hello, how are you?

That person is going to have no idea who you are.....

NOTE: they have never seen a picture of me before.

Those phrases are what I always use and it always ends up working out (as in, conversation wise).

First time meeting an internet friend of mine was not awkward at all.

We had never seen pics of each other, but said what clothes we would wear that day, so we knew who we were. So I saw him first, went up to him and we recognised each other.. But we just shook hands and introduced ourselves still

"My name is Billy, i'm 67 years old and this is my first time meet you, so what is your name?"

banned in pieces??

" Hello/how are you, I am Y, you're X aren't you,  do you prefer that or your real name?" etc

Keep it light and non-creepy and don't try and introduce yourself whilst X is ten seconds from winning the final, you'l probably get ignored or told to" F OFF! ".

                                           "This too shall pass"
