Despite being rather outdated (in terms of YouTube... dunno bout their official website), they are very reputable. They say it like it is at some point. Hell, they tore apart the new Tomb Raider game to see what works and what doesn't, even their subjective opinions sound very objective.

390X 

AMD VS Nvidia = A lost mail man that will do whatever it takes to give you your mail... despite being a few days late... and never realizing that the house that the mail is for was pretty much the first house he started from VS A well dressed, well groomed, well cleaned, and cologned-up donger that just wiggles itself and is the type of guy that makes after-parties a nightmare. Basically its: An idiot that tries VS a jerk that ruins every after-party. Pick your poison.

390x. I have an MSI 390x Gaming and it's very impressive. When I'm not gaming, the fans are off and it's quiet under load. It's got a huge heat sink, but be advised its a 2.5 slot card. Other than the Msi Gaming, I would recommend Saphire or XFX. However I can't recommend ASUS or Gigabyte AMD cards.

How Asus and Gigabyte fucked up is beyond me.

IMHO Asus cards look great they just all seem to die within a year from what I've heard. Jayztwocents has an ASUS 290x Matrix Platinum (equivalent of a KingPin or Classified but with AMD) and it artifacts and topped out at 1070 MHz. And all I've hear about Gigabyte AMD cards is that they just get really loud then die :P. However, MSI, Saphire, XFX, and Powercolor PCS+ (those seem hit or miss from what I've heard) seem to be the better of the AMD board partners.

 

Pretty sure ASUS went downhill with AMD after their 200 series cards didn't cool the GPU or the VRM because they just put a 780 cooler on it that has the GPU in a different spot. Big mistake
