Just bought a server

So i just bought a server for no particular

reason i kinda want to make it into a PFSese Box but i have a feeling that would be a waste of the hardware. Its a dell Poweredge 2850 with a gig of ram and dual intel CPU's I currently have it running a raid 5 across its 6 hard drives giving me around 680GB of space. I saw it for $50 so i couldn't pass up buying it.

What are you going to do with it, just a file server?

I don't really know what to do with it that's the problem.. I tried running ProxMox on it but it doesn't have intel V-T

Haha, I actually have a 2850 camping under my bed waiting for me to find out what to do with it. Got it for free, couldn't say no. ;)

BT sync? you have to have another PC in your group to use it and if you had one all the time, well

im not really into any torent like thing i just dont like them i much prefer FTP and SFTP

Meh, I find it useful for my friends if we want to play modded minecraft or farming simulator

$50 is next to nothing so I'd definitely say yes. It's a very capable little fella', but finding something to use it for isn't that easy as a normal consumer.
