NAS to USB

Ssoele

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a way to connect devices that are not capable of running SMB, or any other way of network attached storage to the data of my NAS.

Does any one know if it is possible to get some sort yo USB adapter that get's the data from the NAS?

More something that I can set up to connect to a certain network folder and shows that as a normal USB device.

The easiest way would be to simply use a different protocol for the file transfers, for example FTP.

Which devices do you use that does not support SMB? I am using ES File Explorer on Android, and you can just install Samba if you are on a GNU/Linux distro.

The problem is that those devices don't support internet, only USB devices, so FTP won't work either.

So those devices have no network connectivity?

What are they?
