Shield Tablet battery!?

flamer7

Hey there guys, I only JUST bought an Nvidia Shield Tablet, and I think there's a battery issue! I set it on airplane mode, and only enabled the wifi, with about 20% brightness. I'm currently doing nothing, and at the battery seems to be draining at 1% per minute!! At 78% doing nothing, it says I have 17 hours left?? On another forum, I saw a picture where a guy had 19 hours more when his was at 41%! Please help, I have reformatted the device twice!

Most reviews I've seen about the Shield tablet claims that it has sub-par battery life, at least when compared to something like an iPad or Samsung tablets.

The software upgrade to lollipop or marshmallow might have exacerbated the sub-par battery problem.

Might just have to wait it out, or try factory resetting.

I have factory reset twice!

If you think there is an issue with you tablet contact the support or retailer and tell them about it.

I don't know if it's normal yet though!

se if your retailer can RMA, or exchange for a new one. Tell them the battery is defective.

Not a retailer, just another person, He isn't replying at all..
