Does the Powercolor r9 380 support hdmi 2.0?

I am going to build a pc and i want use my TV as a monitor and i was wondering can my graphics card (Powercolor r9 380) support HDMI 2.0. Also how do you check if you have 1 becuase i do have a cable i am just not sure whether it is 2.0 or not. Thanks in advance

Yes, the 380 supports HDMI 2.0. Also, about the cable, it doesn't matter, as (unless you have a super shitty cable) old HDMI cables are compatible with HDMI 2.0.

 

EDIT- I meant over DP.

Yes, the 380 supports HDMI 2.0. Also, about the cable, it doesn't matter, as (unless you have a super shitty cable) old HDMI cables are compatible with HDMI 2.0.

Currently no AMD cards have HDMI 2.0, the only way to get 2.0 currently on an AMD card is using a display port adapter.

Club 3D wants to release an active DP to HDMI2.0 adapter within the next 4-6 weeks. The unit will cost in the US about 40 bucks.
