Windows wont boot

hey, i just installed my asus maximus vi formula, and everything works untill i get to windows, then i see the start of the windows logo and poff then it restarts at the asus screen, got a blue screen when i tried to do a system repair 0x124 is the error code

If you changed your motherboard without doing a clean install of windows it probably isn't too happy.

Did you transfer your OS from another build? or did you change out motherboard, CPU, RAM ect? Lastly can you boot into safe mode?

i transfered from another build, no i cant boot to safe mode

 

only changed motherboard and cpu

Then you probably have to reinstall Window. There are a lot of drivers that don't like being on a different platform than what they were meant for.

Sorry for the long reply time. 

 

Did you remember to make it a bootable USB stick? and are you able to try the Windows disk? Lastly try and disable legacy USB support in the bios

I have the exact same problem... Sucks, doesn't it? I think the problem with mine was the settings that I had it on in the bios after I had flashed it.
