Just passed the 500M mark.Should have passed it a couple weeks ago, but the WU supply issues over the past month or two has really hit me in the PPD. ;)

Now we just have to keep the pace up for the next 7 months for #1

You mean #2.

We cant catch the default team, too many users who didnt create a log in name or sign up for a team under the Anonymous user stats.

I kind of agree and disagree with you.

We can't hope to match Defaults current output but will they keep that kind of ouput going when all the panic over Covid-19 starts to die down ? If Defaults output drops down to more inline with what it was before the big jump in March, even if it's double what they were doing, I think that we can overtake them.

Either way at the moment Curecoin are number 1 so they are the target, if Default takes 1st place then they become the target. You don't aim to be 2nd. best, you aim to be the best.

Correct. And it's likely that the Anonymous user will drop significantly after the pandemic, but there will likely be a lot of people continuing to fold; either for other diseases or they forgot to turn it off. The current PPD would need to drop nine billion points for us to MATCH them, and even further for us to one day catch them. But the Anonymous User only equates to... well.... nearly all of what LTT makes currently in a 24 hour period. The other nine billion comes from "users".

You are correct, but it's not just Anonymous that has new users a lot of the named user on Default are new too. Of the top 20 Producers all of them are new apart from 1, if they all stop that is around 1/2 billion points a day just from 18 users.

This is why I said "I kind of agree and disagree with you" it all depends on how many and which people stick around on each team. The production number before March really weren't that far apart.

It will take me exactly 48.6 days to reach top 10 :) considering the current progression without any other factors.

it seems I miss calculated as I ignored the users that will be in top 10 before me, I just calculated based on the fact nobody will hit top 10 in the next 48 days .. from today it will take me 48 days (again with the premise nobody else will show in this period with a faster PPD) and 288 days to get in top 3

been a hot minute since i posted. but i have finally hot 100m total points. been stuck just outside of the top 300.

currently i am running 3 gpus, my new 5700xt is pulling the most weight but backed up with my rx 580 and  1060 3gb bringing me up to an estimated ~1.9m ppd if i was getting enough work units.

Still chugging along, but slowly picking up speed with hardware additions and upgrades...

Have now cleared 5 million points and 1000 WUs. I am another one that is working his way up into the top-ten...thousand on the team and the top-one hundred...thousand overall.  :-)

Battery now includes:
1x Dell R710 with 2x X5660 Xeons
1x Dell T3500 with 1X X5675 Xeon and 1x EVGA Geforce GTX 750 Ti OC

1x Dell T5500 with 1X X5670 Xeon (riser board and second X5670 on-order)

1x HP Z400 with X5670
1x Dell M4500 laptop with 1x quad core i7M
1x Acer crappy netbook that manages to crank out 500 PPD somehow or another...

Mostly LGA1366 stuff. I have disposed of all my LGA771/775 hardware now.

At this point, the T3500 is by far my most productive machine, mostly because of the reasonably modern GPU that stays stocked with work to do pretty much 24/7. The other machines have various older GPUs (a GTX880, a Quadro 3700, that sort of thing). The Windows FAH clients in those machines see the GPUs, but they cant get any work, while the GTX750Ti gets WUs to crunch on continuously. Weird.

yeah if your GPU's are considered 'too old' the F@H client will detect them, but the servers won't issue them any work.

Reached #1 on my team, but not sure I can hold it.  I had a 2060 fail last week, hopefully it gets back soon.

I don't understand folding scores at all.

I have a quarter of your Points, with nearly 1/10th the number of WUs....how does that work?  Why do 377 WUs equate to 25m points? When 3,011 WU equates to 100m?

I have 2.5m to 3m ppd, with a single GPU and honestly, if I took my CPU out entirely from folding, which I am thinking about doing, I would lose about 250,000 points a day, so still at 2.5m to 2.75m a day.

Anyway came to humble brag that I broke into the top 3,000 for team ranking.

Difference in PPD of WUs and GPUs in general. Faster GPUs can rush through big and small WUs and get insane amount of points while slower ones can finish 10x more WUs and take 5x longer folding time and still not match their faster cousins.

Thanks for the link.

25m passed, gonna try a week of 24/7 on two machines see how many points are netted that way...not sure having read that link that my second machine will contribute that much, given you appear to be rewarded for having more powerful components, and my second machine is very old, but we will see how it all pans out.

Hi Everyone!

Reached another milestone, team rank 482. And new daily record 2.248M with 2070 Super and R5 3600 (includes few thousand points from 2 older cpu's).
