GPU exclusive :) / for now Nvidia only. I have to ramp up some of my AMD GPU's but I need to see where to connect those in order to keep my electrical panel happy :)

You clearly understand the remote access function of the FAH program, so could you give me a brief rundown on how to make it work?  I've tried entering the local IP address range of the machines I want to monitor and opened port 36330 for each, but all I can get is an orange "connecting" message that never connects.

I'm running eight separate rigs, so any assistance you can give would be much appreciated!

Made it in to the 400's for team rank. Woohoo!

Well, the good news is my new 7 day average is 1.68M which means I'm finally back to stable and steady WU's!

The bad news is I peaked at rank 31 and I'll fall farther in rank since I cant overtake those who aernt folding fast enough.

I'm running eight separate rigs, so any assistance you can give would be much appreciated!

It is very simple:

1. go to the host (the one you want to connect to)

2. open the "advanced control"

image.png.c78b337a4ee9416f8ef28fb14f46b2fd.png

3. tab called Remote access

image.png.c95d4608d1d3505c1214a5b39479236d.png

4. set a password (not mandated by recommended) and confirm it

image.png.bc6145fec42d46db665c51c7e0494a3c.png

5. set the port (you can leave it as default)

image.png.aafd851435928a5e7c7918408a902a31.png

6. next section (IP address restriction) you need to set the IP or IP classes that are allowed to connect

image.png.17fa5e872ce68a0dbfa5907a75b48fcc.png

you can use range 192.168.x.x - 192.168.x.x, or single IP ...

7. restart the client machine

8, make sure you are allowing connection in your firewall for fah application ... it may be some antivirus with network protection is blocking the traffic (validation is done case by case -> for windows firewall go to Windows defender firewall and under "Allowed apps" - look for Fah (or Fah32) and allow them to get inbound on your network (again depends on your settings)

On "master" computer you need to setup the following

1. click on ADD

image.png.70cc8b69762cb07389efce2afd9a9256.png

2. setup the client setting (name (any name can be put here) / the actual IP address of the host / port and password ) and click on save

image.png.d4fe1c48ee0deed8469ce21ca8009808.png

3 repeat steps if you have more than 1 client

I hope this helps a little bit :)

It will take me exactly 48.6 days to reach top 10 :) considering the current progression without any other factors.

NICE! Your hardware setup is impressive to say the least. Was this a mining setup? Or just a whack ton of gaming rigs? :)

nope, I don't believe  in cripto mining, is kind of "fool's gold" in my perspective, but the technology behind will be the real gold for multiple enterprises .. those are just some of my old hardware put to work as I never get rid of anything I previously own, of course alongside with 2-3 of my newer riggs that I have built for fun :) (my main RTX Titan Rig, my gaming 2x2080Ti setup, my 2080m gaming laptop) ... most of my computers are SFF  :) so not even consuming a lot of space :)

I've been pretty quiet lately with working more, but it's given time for my little ITX monster to chew through WUs. Time to see if I can get a pretty 2080 Ti in here...

I need more CPU's to get the AMD's GPU's up and running :) I can still squeeze about 6-8 mil ppd if I manage to hook up all the GPU's that I have ... Today I tried an old Qx9650 but apparently the MB is faulty :( so I need to buy some cheap i3's or i5's and get some more rigs going :)

I would just like to post my brag that I have entered the top 10....thousand, but still that is a milestone.

Entered the top 5....thousand now.

I think it will be tougher to gain any ranking from here, lot more active people.

Still not bad for a short period of actually folding.
