Hey folks. I've been loyal to android for 6 years or better, but I feel like I'm not getting the full use out of my phone. I also just picked up a Nexus 9 to go along with my HTC One m7... so I'm looking for suggestions. What apps and games do you use on a daily basis? Also... do I need an anti virus on either device?

**EDIT: A few apps I have installed that I use daily...

Apps: DI Radio, Pandora, ColorNote, Speedtest, Google Apps (Maps, ect), GroupMe, Snapchat, Hip Hop Airhorn (Stupid app, but it brings a chuckle to the room during key moments.)

Games: Clash of Clans, Calc of Clans, Impossible Game, Plants Vs. Zombies, and I have Emulators for NES, SNES, Gameboy, and 64. (The 64 one is a huge pain to use... the controller wasn't meant to be played on a phone.)

Apple fanboys: The average consumers won't  use emulators anyways. The average Joe will not need a file browser as well.

Back on topic. I use magisk(before that superSU)

I need lucky patchers so I can literally mod apps, change their permissions, and back them up.

I need adFender. Praise its developers! System wide ad block, sweet!

I need drastic emulators for DS ROMs, mainly pokemon.

Es file explorer. This allows so much functionality like zipping files and unzipping files. The lack of these things, heck, lack of a file manager during my dark iOS days literally drove me nuts. I had to wait until I got home to download zip files, unzip it, and browse through it.

Clash of clans cuz... Well, it's clash of clans.

Wifi Password. This apps displays all the networks and their passwords I connected to. It is very convenient when visitors ask me for my home network password or when my computers had a clean install and need to connect.

Terminal emuators. So I can do geeky things like run "su" and cd into system directorys. I also run top to see what is going on in the OS.

Advanced download manager. This thing allows so many downloads in parallel and it always resumes without fail. This is useful when I'm like in the NYC Subway and taking advantage of its 500mbps free wifi but need to pause in order to catch a train. Adavance download manager also is like super fast. Download speed is often 2-3x faster than just using my chrome browser. Also, it can be call from chrome. I can just tap on a download link and chrome will notify me if I wish to use third party download managers like ADM.

Tor. In case I need to bypass my University firewall for... Reasons.

Bit torrent. For downloading torrents by taking advantage of many of NYC's 500mbps public indoor and outdoor hotspots.

F-Droid. Many good apps like repWifi (which is an app that allows you to use an USB network adaptor) that you don't find on the play store.

Google map. So I don't get hopelessly lost and know how to get from point A to B by riding NYC's confusing public transportation

Gmail. This thing actually allows me to clear up spam emails. Neat.

Google drive. So I can view all the contents. Duh.

Phone/messaging App. Cuz android phone is a phone. Agree?

Instagram because I'm a basic bitch.

Also snapseed because I haven't found any photo editing app that can beat it. Maybe not even photoshop, and you gotta pay for that shit...
