if you have 8k resolution in a 16:9 resolution pixels come to 7680 x 4320 and 4k is 3840 by 2160. This set-up is 7680 x 2160. so if my math is right it's a 6k resolution at a weird ratio of 16:4.5

Actually, it is 8k. Without doing math, a simple way to figure out is count how many screens there are.

If you want proof, a 1080p (1k) monitor is 1920 x 1080, or 2073600 pixels. This setup is 7680 x 2160, or 16588800 pixels.

16588800 / 2073600 = 8

This is if you go by the way people measure 4k resolutions.

If you go by the way 1080p is measured, this is just 2160p, at a ratio of 16:4.5 like you said.

TLDR: there are 8 x 1080p monitors = 8k

Porn like you've never experienced before. Now if that was 8k 3d, it's like having a brothel in your room.

I don't think so, I don't really mind the bezel, as I only game on 1 screen.

You have all those monitors and only use one for gaming? Not even triple screen? *screams internally*

its about the number of collumns of the resolution. 1080p (aka 2K) has about 2000, 4K has about 4000 collumns, and 8K has 8000

360px-8K_UHD%2C_4K_UHD%2C_FHD_and_SD.svg

yes this is 100% correct, I'm afraid I was caught up and didn't actually know that 4k was about the horizontal pixel length because I was going off of 1080p, so 4k would be 2160p. I assumed (like many others) that 4k was because it was 4 times the 1080p resolution. I forgot I made this post or I would have fixed it as soon as I learned otherwise.

I know it is a little late but like many people the bezels could be kinda annoying and the differnece of depth from the bezel to the screen kinda throws me off. You should check out the Dell S2340M 60Hz 23.0" Monitors

I know, even when it comes to productivty. its just my personal preference becuase bezels (thick bezels) drive me nuts when I have more than three monitors on my desk. Though I've never had as many as you.

To late for that. ;)

Also: CoC states.

4.3 Thread Necroing

Thread necroing consists of reviving a previously resolved, settled, or "dead" thread after a prolonged period of time by the OP with the intention of bumping the thread to the top of the board. Threads with an activity gap of 1 month or greater that are brought back to the front page is considered "thread necroing". A shorter duration may be considered when dealing with situations like previously resolved threads being reposted or simply for the purpose of bumping it to the front page. Build logs are exempt from this rule.

Just wanted to point that out.

That's why I didn't report it. But it should be left up to the op the necro it. I know the coc, I've been around.

I know you have, I seen you around ;) by the way of your post, I assumed maybe you did not see that part of the CoC.

See like the other day for an example, someone brought back a thread in the Build Logs from a year ago with a comment, I then commented right after that person, I never saw that thread from a year ago ( dont know why ) I check build logs on a daily, but any whoo. The SSD placement looked sweet, then someone right after me had to point out that the thread was from a year ago.

long story short, if that one person had not brought back that thread, then I would have never known how sweet that SSD placement was :D. Conclusion: It's a good thing that thread necroing does not apply in the build logs, because you never know what build logs others have missed seeing.

I do see were you are coming from though.
