I currently have a CX600 PSU and was wondering if I would need to upgrade my psu to be able to handle a new i7 6700k. I would be upgrading my motherboard to a msi gaming M7. Is there any thing else I should consider before upgrading?

My current setup is:

MSI GTX 980 Twin Frozr (1590Mhz OC)

ASUS Z87-C

CX600

8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

i5 4670k

Corsair H60

Kingston 128GB SSD

Seagate 1TB HDD

Corsair 300R Case

CPU: i7 6700k | Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M7 | RAM: 16GB DDR4 G.Skill RipJaws V @ 2400mhz | GPU: MSI GTX 980 Twin Frozr | Case: Corsair 300r windowed | Storage: 1TB HDD and 128GB SSD | PSU: Corsair RM850i | Monitor: BenQ xl2420z | Cooler: Corsair h60 | Sound: Astro A40 | Mouse: Razer Taipan | OS: Win 8.1 | PCPartPicker Link: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/xV7tZL

Not so much concerned about the budget but wanted to make sure there was a bit of "future proofness" to it.

Might be upgrading to add another 980 in SLI in the future when the prices drop.

G2, not 1, anything from Evga, Superfllower, SeaSonic, or XFX.

Not Corsair? I'm Bit of a Corsair fanboy.

Corsair is fine if you buy the right one.   Just don't buy CX for a build that's not for office use.  RM/HX/AX I think are the ones to shoot for.

The CX won't blow up on you or anything, but it would be better to get the evga one.
