24 Carat Gold Plated CaseLabs X2M Water Cooled Build

This is my first build log here. It Is going to be a build log inside the Case Labs X2M. I am going to be slightly modding the case, water cooling the system, gold plating parts and doing a custom paint job. Color theme is Black, Grey and Gold. I am aiming for a super quite fast system with a fairly good overclock for gaming and streaming mainly as well as some video editing and rendering.

PSU: EVGA T2 1000 (MDPC X Sleeved Cables) (Aquired)

 

CPU Block: Swiftech Apogee HD gold plated limited edition #63 (Aquired)

GPU Block: EK-FC Titan X Waterblock - Nickel + Acetal (Aquired)

GPU Backplate: EK-FC Titan X Backplate - Black (Aquired)

Radiators: Alphacool Nexxxos St30 240 x2 (Aquired)

Reservoir: Bitspower D5 Mod/Upgrade kit (Aquired) (Still need to get them gold plated)

Pump: Swiftech mcp655 (D5 Pump) (Aquired)

Fittings: Bitspower enhance multilink, Custom gold plated (Aquired)

Tubing: Bitspower 12mm crystal link (Aquired)

Fans: Noctua NF F12 Linus Tech Tips edition x5 (Aquired)

Sorry for the delays with this build it should be finished by the end of this month. The gold plating took longer then expected, this is because gold plating aluminium is harder then gold plating brass.

Huge Thank You to Daniel Cannon for the gold sorting out the gold plating.

The Ram tops, Ethereal Res mounts and Bitspower D5 pump dress kit where not able to be gold plated and after hours of trying they determined the only solution was to have the parts remade out of copper or brass. Which I have given the go ahead on. The parts should be made and gold plated within the next couple of weeks I will keep you all updated.

I have been researching Mayhems Aurora and have also done some testing myself, I am considering using it in this in my build and the only potential problem is the Apogee HD, this would be due to the jet plate in the block being to restrictive. I will not be replacing the water block because it was the inspiration for the build. I may mod it if it comes to that.
