well, i got vac banned (false) on steam today, r.i.p me. i spent over 200 bucks on steam. over 200 bucks and now i'm fucked. well....

there goes my gaming pastime

If you got VAC banned, you are a cheater.. Do you have Cheatengine installed or anything?

 

Also, when you're VAC banned you can still play all of your games, you just can't join VAC secured servers.

I used to be quite active here.

I wasn't doing shit. i was on a dod:s server and i started speeding up randomly. and i got banned. i have no idea how that happened or why,

I got VAC-banned (only on MW2 though) despite not cheating.

 

Hosting my own server is not cheating... Right? :rolleyes:

If you provide evidence to prove them wrong they will listen, otherwise your going to have to wait out the ban.

Do you mean you use CheatEngine in single player? If so, when you join a multiplayer server and the program is still running you'll be promptly VAC banned.

i got vac banned for installing a graphics mod on cs go

and i personally spent over 800$ on steam but luckily i had zero steam play games(none of my games were effected)

and i just had to move on to a new steam account :(

The chances of getting a false VAC ban are very very slim to none also you can still play all of your other games you only get VAC ban for the game you cheated on what ever one that is.

 To VAC you "cheated" by having CheatEngine open, the most well known cheating program. There's no way for it to prove "oh, he was only using it in single player so I'll let it slide." It auto bans you.
