GodSpoon

So i'm just going to be putting some builds I've thrown together up here, so when people ask what they should get for $XXX.XX I can go ahead and hook em up

The format is "Price - Form Factor - Platform"

I also plan to be updating these monthly as time goes on

Feel free to steal these if you deem them worthy :)

Seeing some of those single fan AIO's made me cringe a bit. Same for the Corsair RM psu's.

And i just noticed the Kingston V300 in one of those builds...

Very good, but I think the PSU on the Extreme Machine and $1600 Skylake should be changed, the RMs aren't of the highest quality. Go with an EVGA G2/GS, XFX XTR or a Seasonic anything.

Project White Lightning (My ITX Gaming PC): Core i5-4690K | CRYORIG H5 Ultimate | ASUS Maximus VII Impact | HyperX Savage 2x8GB DDR3 | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB | WD Black 1TB | Sapphire RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX | Corsair AX760 | LG 29UM67 | CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | HyperX Cloud II | Logitech Z333

Benchmark Results: 3DMark Firestrike: 10,528 | SteamVR VR Ready (avg. quality 7.1) | VRMark 7,004 (VR Ready)

Other systems I've built:

I know, but for the sake of simplicity its just at the normal $80 retail in the lists, and its not as sketchy for new guys that way

Some people won't even need it anyways :P

@Fulgrim Ill swap that out

@ThinkWithPortals Ill do that too

With out there would be 60$ more in the budget to add more gpu power, better psu or upgrade to a better ssd than that V300 what one of the setups have. :/

Some suggestions:

1.The $2500 build needs a psu with more capacity

2.The case choice in the $2000 build can be better considering that you are left with $34.

3.The $1600 and both the $1000 builds don't need that psu

4.Replace the v300 from the $500 build with an adata sp600.

I honestly don't know how that V300 got in there...

Very good, but I think the PSU on the Extreme Machine and $1600 Skylake should be changed, the RMs aren't of the highest quality. Go with an EVGA G2/GS, XFX XTR or a Seasonic anything.

Fixed

Some suggestions:

1.The $2500 build needs a psu with more capacity

2.The case choice in the $2000 build can be better considering that you are left with $34.

3.The $1600 and both the $1000 builds don't need that psu

4.Replace the v300 from the $500 build with an adata sp600.

$2500 PSU is fine

Swapped it out

Both of those are meant to be expandable in the future, so yes they do

Done, don't know how that got in there

I agree with you, retail copies only gents :P

I would add that, but honestly the amount of "gaming" you could do on that would be very minimal unfortunately :( (notice the 3DS lol) and you have to add windows on top of that like the other builds

Yeah, just a joke build by choosing the cheapest parts :). For 110$ you don't expect Windows cuz you pretty much have to get PC for free :P

True, honestly for $110 you might as well do a Q6600 build from eBay parts

That'll give you the most performance for you money at that price point
