Ea3500 Cant find hard drive

I recently got a Linksys Ea3500 and i cant seem to find my hardrive. I can see it from my other computer but i ant see it on my current one. Is it because im using a cat5 cable? not a cat5e or cat6?

Is the drive in the computer or plugged into the router ?

Cable has nothing to do here.

Something wrong with your connection ?

Run the damn cable :)

Like rufee said, the ethernet cable has nothing to do here. What you should check is in your router settings if your USB support is turned on.

From the computer you can't access the drive attached to the router, can you connect to other computers on the network? If not, it's probably something to do with the settings on that actual computer.
