[Rumor] AMD Launching New GPU This Friday.

VagabondWraith

I'm guessing AMD is gonna release the Fury X2 or "Gemini" GPU to coincide with their new Crimson software and drivers.

Translated:

AMD, Friday, November 20th will be held the end-user events from the evening. The theme is "Radeon Software" and the new GPU and "Star Wars: Battlefront"

In this event, in addition to the new design and a new driver software that incorporates many of the new features "Radeon Software", do the session to introduce the functions and features on the graphics card new products to be announced soon. In addition, we are soon scheduled to demo or trial play, and AMD partners a variety of planning such as session and exhibition booth by the company of the new action shooter game to be released from Electronic Arts' Star Wars: Battlefront ".

Very exciting. Hope they deliver big time.

i saw the fury x2 will have 8GB vram

so it's gonna be dual fury x? or just upgraded furyx?

dual fury x

Each of them has 4gb vram so it has 8gb total but it doesn't stack

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I forgot about the 380X. That's probably it, although you gotta think their dual Fury is due in time.

I can't wait to see the 380x. Hopefully it ends up near the 290 like rumored, which would make it IMO the most exciting GPU of 2015 if they sell it for the rumored $250.

Nvidia is the best but for the sake of AMD pesants. And for not OCing, AMD has better performance out of the box.

a OCed 960 barely matches a stock 380 - that's some pretty crappy stock performance from the 960 :P

Depends on what card you're talking about.

980 Ti OC vs Fury X OC - 980 Ti win

970 OC vs 390 OC - Draw

960 OC vs 380 OC - 380 win

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

Going in the wife's PC, she got a gig involving some graphic design. Light photoshop and the like. So I'm back to a single GPU.
