I really want to donate but i can't send you money because i don't have a PayPal also I only have 40$ and i would like to have a gold badge. =( Maybe if the donations where extended another month?

 

Same here, I don't use paypal because I refuse to support their shady business practices.  Oh well, I'll support with you with my wise words and presence instead.  lol

the wait for the badge seems agonizing even though i don't really care I just keep checking if its there yet lol since i donated my 10$ i just keep checking every few hours sadly i haven't even done anything other then that on the forums since i donated 3 days ago lol

I agree. Good move, but I would like to see a total amount donated at the end with a plan on the use of the money.

I am curious about how much they made as well but as far as their plan on using that money is none of my business. I donated 50$ for what ever they need it for don't care what it is.

I keep checking to see if my badge has been posted yet every few hours.

Just be patient before you know it your badge will appear.

I owe linus my much improved build knowledge and general PC knowledge over the last year and a half since i found his channel... so ill be donating (even though i haven't posted much in the forum thus far) but i look forward to helping him in return in a small way.

Like mentioned here many times, its one (1) month from starting of campaign. So 30 days from announcement video. Meaning that campaign ends 21st of Septemper.

 

And to answerr the next question, all badges will be assigned manually. So it might take awhile for slick to do it. Remember to put your forum username on additional info field.

Just donated. :) I have no issue with donating, I used to spend around £4.50 every month on buying CustomPC magazine for years, so a small donation to help LinusTechTips out...no problemo. :)
