Hi! I'm part of How To Gaming gaming community, and we need more active members! (Not same thread its been revamped)

 

 

✦Who are we?✦

We're just a group of guys who want to have fun. That doesn't mean we can't be serious at times, but most of the time, we're casual players. 

 

We are not a clan. We do not play a single game, competitively, we play many games, casually (except for Insurgency, we're pretty serious about that)

 

Quite simply, we just want to have fun and laugh a lot. 

 

 

✦What do we do?✦

We play games and have fun doing so! We also just chat about random things. Just like any gaming community!

 

✦How many members do you plan to get?✦

We plan to get as many members as we see fit. Once we start getting too many, we're simply going to stop accepting members. 

 

Ideally, the 40-50 ACTIVE member mark is where we're aiming at.

 

✦What games do we play?✦

We play just about anything. The games we're mostly into are:

 

Rocket League

Grand Theft Auto V

Insurgency (or as we call it, Insurgery :P)

Battlefield

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Warhammer: End Times Vermintide

Minecraft: Tekkit mod (24/7 server hosting it)

Payday 2

Left 4 Dead 2

Keep Talking and nobody explodes

...AND MORE!

 

Games we would like to play in the future, with more members

 

Tabletop Simulator once we start getting enough people (currently only 3 people have it)

Cards Against Humanity game nights (free game http://pretendyoure.xyz/zy/)

The Division

Ark:Survival Evolved

✦Are there any requirements to join?✦

Yes there are.

 

First of all, there is no age requirement to join, as long as you're mature, it's totally fine.

 

Second of all, and probably the most important aside from respect, is that you must use TeamSpeak and have a mic

If you do not come on TeamSpeak regularly, you will be kicked from the community, because you're basically not even participating.

If you know that you will be away for a while (ie: midterms, finals, something happened in your family, no more Internet, etc) you must notify us.

 

Last rule is that you must be respectful. Racial slurs are a no-no and try to keep the homophobic slurs to a minimum as well.

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

It's still advertising which is against CoC....

TBH I'm surprised this group is still alive after bloody kicked almost all active members

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I play ark quite a lot so we can do that.

Actually not. 

Take me as an example i'm living in SA, and i'm part of the gaming community.

 

The only problem is that if you're from AU/SEA/Asia are the time zones :P
