It will perform better than your 780ti

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

Isnt that more of a hope than an actual fact?

it basically preforms a little under 7950 CF (270x CF territory) similar to 560 ti SLI

So I did a bargain, only paid $65 for a fully functional 6990 :-)

I think that card serves as a good space heater too :D.

If the game doesn't work in Xfire though... you're boned.

Seems like if everything is perfect it performs close to the 970 but the power output, yikes....

I don't think I would want to run that card even if it was $25 but that's me. I'd put it in for free

but I don't think my 650 OCZ would power it.

Closer to the 280x----than the 290, by this.

But for that price, pretty nice.

Lets hope both GPU's can be utilized properly through drivers in a lot of modern games.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Mid 70's isn't all that bad actually. I think my GTX 770 hit 81 once. I was benchmarking AND overclocking but 81 wasn't my fav number to see when my 7850 on MAX overclock pretty much gets 61c in my PC. No matter what OC... it hits the same, it's pretty cool.
