I have that problem as well.

 

The funny thing is, if they would just make the color of the blades, the same as the LED's, the fan isn't dim at all. I bought some Corsair purple 120's, with translucent blades. I used a marker to color the blades purple, and it looks much brighter. Probably because the light gets reflected better. Its too bad they aren't UV LED's because the marker I used was UV reactive purple.

 

Check out Deepcool's new TF series fans. You can get them with LEDs with solid colored fan blades. Color selection at the moment is limited though.

No more overpriced than Corsair's AF/SP series fans, which are what I've been using up until now. As others have said, unfortunately orange doesn't match my current setup but I'll definitely look at buying these to support LTT next time I'm in the market for fans. I'll probably end up plastidipping the anti-vibration mounts white -- I've been after Noctua fans for a while, I just hate that horrible brown colour.

 

If would be awesome if Noctua offered different coloured anti-vibration mounts as a stock item. The only two tick-boxes for a fan are looks & performance, they've got the performance down, they just need to get on the same page as the competition when it comes to aesthetics. Once that's taken care of, they can differentiate between price points however they see fit; people will buy whichever suits their budget.

They're honestly too much for me. $170 for the just 5 fans is pretty insane. I may buy 1 to put on my wall.

9 or 18 to use on my 1260mm radiator would be silly expensive for me.
