better GPU (MUCH BETTER)
better cpu cooler
cheaper
quieter
and if you scrap the (if you ask me) useless SSD you can get a R9 Fury which beats a 980

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

It is the best you will get really if you an i7. But the i5 will probably be just as good for now if you would rather save the money.

Not really, every single PSU with their name on it has cheaper and better competitor items.

There's not a very good reason to not go with Samsung, Crucial, Intel, Sandisk, etc for your SSD.

16gb of ram will do, for your use you won't need 32gb

i could go with an i5 and 16 gigs if i use it for gaming.

but that aint the case. its mainly for cad, coding and heavy image processing.

Not as much as they used to, and nothing about this build is cheap. It's not a budget build obviously, I mean it has an i7 and DDR4, so no need for budget parts.

Corsair gets beaten by its competitors at the high end in almost all departments.

The H100i comes with 2 corsair fans, whose rpm can be turned down to match the sp120 quiet editions. so all they are missing is the ring.  That'll save you $28, if you don't care about the ring.

Also, since you are using Air 240 as a case, fully modular doesn't seem all that important unless you are planning on individually sleeving your cables, since it is all hidden on the backside of the case.  Probably could pinch out a few dollars here as well if you go for a non-modular psu.  750W also very overkill, but from what I'm seeing on pc-part picker, not that big of a price increase for more wattage.

RAM and SSD and PSU are very sale-dependent, and brand A vs brand B probably don't make as big of a difference as people say.  Just get whatever is on sale at the time of purchase.  You'll never hear someone saying, "oh man, i wish i had spent that extra $20 for Hyper-X memory over Gskill memory"
