Outstanding attention to detail. I own an asus dcii 670, and it sags a lot, do they still sag with the ek blocks/backplate on them?

define sags lol

the only thing i can complain is that one of the back plate has dull holes one side for the bolts

though the rest of holes can still hold it well

with the dcii cooler (the cards in your rig are asus one, right?), the outside corner (with the pci connectors) is lower than the rest. is that still true with the blocks installed?

not really, mine is solid as gold once the blocks installed

maybe its because of the weight from the dcii heatsink (which is massive and heavy)

I've never run them on air, I installed the block once I bought it

but yours still working perfectly fine, isnt it?

Wanna share my update on the build since I decided to delid the chip

Draining process:

Draining_zpseb4558b4.jpg

Primochill Advanced LRT after two months use with EK Red blood, I know it looks like staining but the clouding is noticeable by eyes

Deliding ready to go

Delid_zps8a724e7d.jpg

I was tinkering the whole night trying to smack the IHS from the chip and I failed

the next day my fiancee came along, I continued to tinker the deliding process in the next room while she was on the phone;

It was really noisy since I kept smacking the piece of wood yet the IHS didnt wanna come off

she came up to me while STILL ON THE PHONE, took my hammer forcefully and while Im still wondering what she's about to do

she gave two good smack on the wood and it came off!

than she just walked away without saying a word

Managed to get a quick shot of her holding the hammer

Test bench with CM 212x

CLU applied

CLU_zpsde8fe18a.jpg

RESULT (watercooled) ambient is 21c

Before the delid

StressTestLowLoad2_zpsc503ec96.jpg

After the delid

Delid25minutes_zps1d5ad716.jpg

Its a drop of a whooping 21c on the hottest core

I didnt use the IHS since I use the EK ivy naked mounting mechanism

and lastly Im not satisfied with the fan filter for the pedestal, so I ordered the new primochill 2 layer hex grill and put some filter materials in between the layer

IMG_9969_zpse9b13165.jpg

Only bolted in 8 out of 16 screws so that it become removable (since the other 8 still intact between the pedestal, fan and radiator

I think the airflow is now better since I can feel more air movement on the other side

very satisfied with the result
