Hello, I'm new to the forums and ive always wanted to know if my PC is still good or not. my specs include

i7 920 OC to 3.4ghz

hyper 212 evo

p6t mobo

8gb 1866 hyperX fury

500 watt semi-modular psu

gigabyte HD 6850

corsair 230T case (orange)

Western Digital Caviar blue 1tb

128gb corsair force SSD

USB 3.0 pci-e card (mobo doesn't support 3.0)

I know alot of my parts are getting older but they still hold up very well to my standards. If you could please leave a rating (1/10) and say how i could make it better i would greatly appreciate that :)

As long as they work for you, than it's good enough.

If it does what you need it to, then it's still a good PC.

for gaming?

It could be better, specifically in the GPU and CPU department

Not bad. Your GPU is holding you back most, followed by CPU.

Like others said though, if you don't need anything more then don't waste your money.

Ive been thinking about upgrading the GPU for awhile i just don't know what i would go with. Does have any suggestions for GPU around $200? I really do like my GPU for how cool it runs and low power but in newer games on steam i can see its holding me back

The R9 380 and GTX 960 are both great cards. Usually you can get the R9 380 for around $20 less, however the GTX 960 consumes less power and generally has lower temps. The R9 380 performs 5% to 15% better based upon title though, so that should also be considered.

Still good but wait for Cannonlake or Zen before you upgrade! :D

The GPU can be upgrade to something now unless you do not feel like you need one!
