Also on the subject of Forza 7.  How much, if any difference is it going to be from Forza 6??  In game play, driving dynamics ??
Or are we just going to be paying for the same cars again in the game & DLC that are already in Forza 6...
I know that a couple of tracks are returning & if you have the hardware, up to 4K resolution.

And as I have been playing a lot more of Assetto Corsa recently. I had a play of Forza 6. The difference between the two games is like night & day.

Totally frustrating playing Forza 6. With the way the AI cars are, to the handling dynamics, the the total lack of grip from any of the cars. It's like driving on ice..

As someone who has brought & played every Forza game so far. Including all of the Horizon series (don't get me started on how bad Horizon 3 is)
I'm just not sure if I'm going to buy Forza 7. Well maybe 8-12 months down the track when it's 75% off new price..  Anyone feel the same????

Is PC Cars 2 going to be any better???  PC Cars was OK. But nit ground braking..

After the fail that was FH3, I'm not paying full price for another forza game. You're better off waiting for reviews either way but early reports suggest gameplay is similar, apart from the annoying HUD that moves around and the wipers shaking at unrealistically low speeds for "increased immersion in simulation"

As far as the driving goes I'd expect PC2 to have an edge over FM7 in part due to the full time of day cycle, dynamic weather, and quality/amount of scanned tracks.

Does anyone have the Ferrari 166 on forza? If so could you please post some pictures of the interior, engine and trunk

Thanks!!

Edit: It may seem like a weird request but I am currently texturing a ripped 166 model for GTA V.

Do you have a tutorial on where you learned how to rip/convert the models? I used to do some modeling with Zmodeler 2 but it was pretty much just taking parts and putting them on different cars lol. I'm interested in converting some models for police cars, though, but I don't know where to start (beside paying a ridiculous amount for Zmod 3).

I don't really rip models myself. The ripping software is kinda sketchy, but most people don't have any issues. I just stay away from that side of modding.  Besides most car models from games are on http://gamemodels.ru I have never had any viruses malware ect. from download there rips, but you should still scan it on something like virus total.

Just to clarify with the next part of your question are you interested in converting stock gta cars to police cars or cars from other games to police cars and putting them in gta?

I want to take stock cars from games like Forza, convert them, and apply police equipment (there's an entire website for GTA police modding).

Alright, I would start off with taking cars from gta and adding police equipment. Mainly because adding the equipment itself  will be identical whether your using a gta car or a car from forza. Also using items solely from gta will make it less likely to crash the game.

Spoiler

Then actually converting cars. Most people start off converting an unlocked gta iv vehicle mod to gta v and that is what most of the tutorials revolve around.

Spoiler

this is a two parter made by the guy who created zmodeler. Just turn CC to english

this is a good one, but he skips some steps. I would recommend just watching both of these series.

I find this next link to be one of the most helpful. Its in french but auto translating with google works well. Its a written guide that goes over a lot of the small stuff that the videos seem to miss.

https://scrat-tech.fr/modding-gta-v/tutoriels-modding-gta-5/creer-vehicule-gta-v-tuto-complet/

if you have anymore questions or questions while learning how to convert just let me know :)

Well, PRD's final season in PCars is done as of last night. Secured a 4th place finish in the championship - a new BP by far since I started competing with PRD about 2 years ago. :)

Anyways, on the 20th, we're having a final PCars "hurrah"  on Wednesday Sept 20th just before the launch of PCars2 - at which point afterwards we are all going to burn PCars(1) to discs and burn them!!! lol :P

The throttle application wasnt too bad for me on the XB360 pad but the steering felt off. Its far from being unplayable though, and I know some guys from league racing that are as quick as wheel users.

I would have preferred the 575 GTC, 360 Challenge, Modena, or GT, but I voted for the 333. Hopefully they introduce some of these cars later.
