Just as expected.

Still, that's a lot of phones in 3 days. And it's not even available in most countries yet. I think they are too expensive, at least in Romania.

I've looked up prices for the new smartphones from Apple in online stores here.

$1050 buys you a brand new IPhone 6S 16GB! Yay. The 128GB model only costs $1325.

$1500 for an IPhone 6S Plus 128GB. The 16GB model is almost $1200.

It seems that $300 for an extra 112GB of storage is the norm.

$2.67/GB .

You pay for the brand... Look at the oneplus one 2 , a chinese company that makes new phones, and the one 2 will cost up to 400$ and has the same specs

I mean of course there's the everlasting comment of iPhone buyers being complete idiots, but I think this shows that those new features are acutally pretty great. I think Apple could become a fairly great company again, after their down since Jobs died.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

Yes, they've done what they were expected to do : improve hardware specs.

Still, the IPhone 6S only has a 1715mAh battery, and it has almost the same PPI and resolution as my old Galaxy S3. D: Live Photos are glorified small videos, and 3D Touch is nice but not extremely useful.

iPhones are good phones, but I agree the fanboyism is a bit much. I like to think of them more as collector items.

Most people buy an IPhone because they don't know what other kind of phone to buy. They don't know how to pick a phone that could be right for them , so they rather just go with something that a lot of other people have. Then they just buy the same thing again and again , since they've had experience with that product.

The *only* cool feature of the 6S that I was like "wow wish my S6 had that" was the ability to swipe left and right on the keyboard to move the cursor on the text.  Wouldn't be surprised if there's an android app to do that though.

I also like on the 6S that you only need to touch the home button to unlock it.  You don't have to push and hold like you do on the S6.  6S is also way faster on reading fingerprints.

That's good but it could be cheaper :D I'd like one but I think it's too much of a quirk for me atm

That was a jailbreak tweak from cydia since ios 6 or something lol had it on my 2 4S's on every version of iOS I had on them

My LG G3 has a feature like that. You hold the spacebar a little, then move your finger to the left or right depending on where you want the cursor to be.

I really don't understand all the iPhone hate. My iPhone makes calls, texts, uses google maps, browses the web, and plays games. Overall it offers a way better experience than any android I have ever used. As for battery complaints I don't really want to carry around a brick so I can have a "2-3 day" battery. Apple is excellent about software updates and covering older devices. My only real gripes are 2GB took way to long to make it into a phone and 32GB should be the minimum. I don't feel the need to customize my phone like my PC I guess. It's just a phone.
