I don't have one but I've seen them in person. The black is matte, with a kind of soft touch feel. The red is definitely glossy.

If you never touched matte before its soft//sleek rubber that feels like plastic ish overall it feels awesome

The black is a very soft very matte black and the red is glossy (I have a Black/Blue one)
