Hi100 pile of f**king c**p

Not sure if someone had mentioned it, but tell them you had another PC underneath it that it leaked into, and then they will pay for 100% of the damage.

/s

And that would be called fraud. It's one thing to misrepresent the situation because you're not aware of the extent of the damage. It's another situation entirely when you deliberately misrepresent the situation by knowingly providing false information. The latter will get you sued, or, if the monetary compensation was large enough, arrested.

Yeah I sent them a question today but they usually take a day or two to reply and I would prefer to get the problem solved tonight if possible.

That's fine, send me a PM with your ticket # and I'll take a quick look.

Tell them it leaked onto your skylake mobo, 32gb of DDR4, and 2 Titan Xs in SLI.

And you would be committing FRAUD by doing that.

Not going to elaborate, but that's exactly what it is.

And those guys that oversees damage claims, they are pretty thorough with their checklist and very detailed when processing those type of claims, not easily fooled to say the least ;)

Makes me wonder then if they've requested reimbursement of the overage from the OP, given that he said in the end that only his motherboard needed replaced. For obvious reasons you can't elaborate on that, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's happened.

This is exactly why I am hesitant to ever use an AIO liquid cooler.

Notice the /s.

That means sarcasm.

Notice the reply I gave. That means I don't care.
