Do any of you fold with a Laptop?

Folding on a laptop will kill it pretty quick. The power delivery and cooling on them isnt designed to run at full load 24/7.

thats why i only hit it with one WU per day (sometimes 2 if im feeling harsh), and set the thread count to 6, which is half of my total thread count of 12. that way your cpu won't be as hot (but still the fans sound like turbines).

I do with my 3 years old gaming laptop. Honestly it's fine as long as you're doing everything you can to optimize cooling. The CPU and GPU are undervolted, I've repasted the thermal compounds with ThermalGrizzly and attached a Opolar puller fan to help with the cooling and basically taped the seal between the laptop and the cooler to ensure the negative pressure pulls from the heated internals but not from the ambient air.

It's not optimal ofc but gaming laptops tend to have better cooling than your standard workstations.
