.DVR to literally freaking anything plz help

ok so i recorded some stuff with shadow play because i have nothing else and cant be botherd to get anything else, i faffed about with other sulotions on my laptop and i now know there is nothing good thats free on the internet :P ok so i just asumed it would output into .mp4 or .AVI or something like that, a format you can actiually freaking use and eddit, but it outputs into this format called .DVR ad´nd there is nothing that can do anything but play it on my computer(im on windows 10 btw so i dont seem to have windows movie maker anymore :/) so i looked online and there is ONE converter but it wont do more then half the file if its less then exactly 5min long and wont do anything thats a second longer if you dont pay a bunch of money and its shit quality anyway. so someone else in the world must have had this problem with shadowplay and managed to solve it. so if anyone knows what to do please tell me because this pisses me off, is there like a way to change the output format for shadow play atleast? thanks for any replies and all help..

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

rename the .dvr to .mpeg see if that works
