The day a 360 Emulator drops I will cry so hard.

There is already one called xneia, not very good but it can run super meat boy.

Considering how long it took for microsoft to program the backwards compatibility for the xbox one, its going to be a long time before xenia starts emulating games like halo or forza.

Well I'm sure people have been working on a 360 emulator forever. MS is doing it now as a after thought. I'm sure it was on their board but they never got around to it.

Wasn't that a PS2 game? You could emulate it, and fuck around with settings in the Emulator and get it to run like a beaut.

Well from what phil spencer said during e3 it sounded like a tough engineering challenge, thy games don't even run natively on the xbox one per se I think that they are downloaded and not all games actually support it yet. The only reason I love this move my microsoft it that it stops devs wasted their time remastering games that don't need remastering *cough* dishonoured.... I mean they didn't even bother making the game run at 1080p 60FPS.

No... Not quite. Sure, you can run it on PCSX2, but it would not be at 4K or 60fps. The actual disc or ROM doesn't have the capability for a 4K experience because it wasn't made for that.

Well the aliasing and texture quality would be pretty great. I do this with a lot of older games, an example being Twilight Princess in dolphin emulator. I just make it run at DSR 4k, and use high levels of Antiscroptic filtering and it looks far better than I could imagine.
