Computer Keeps Shutting Off
The system doesn't show "press any key to boot from CD" and only shows "press f2 or DEL" to go to BIOS and in the bios, the CD shows up on the screen, but it isn't recognized. But seeing that booting from the other HDD doesn't work as well, I'm not sure what the problem is.
I wouldn't be surprised if booting from the HDD on a new computer doesn't work because it's not guaranteed that an install of Windows from one computer will work on another. In the BIOS, it'll only tell you what drives (HDD, DVD, etc.) are connected. They won't display if a CD is present in the drive or what the CD is. Pretty much as Deagon said, check your boot options and make sure your Windows disc or USB is made properly. If you have the Windows ISO, I would recommend using Microsoft's own utility to make a bootable Windows Install Disk.
