On a related note, the Hornady 135gr Critical Duty load is stupidly accurate. I was rotating out old carry ammo so I figured I might as well use really good ammo for the attempt. 

 

Still surprised it was even possible. I have a pic for proof, but photobucket is blocked in my office, I'll post it up this evening.

Well yesterday was range day. My SIG was perfectly reliable, as it always is, and I ran about 300 rds of both 5.56 NATO and .223 through the AR. Also my friend's Glock 23 was there, he just got a 9MM conversion barrel and it was a nice shooter.

Thought I would Post my German K98 8mm just because this is probably my favorite rifle I own. Has the Nazi markings on it as well. If you haven't noticed I love my old rifles/handguns.

If you wanna stay in Europe, Switzerland and the Czech Republic come to mind for much lesser restrictive gun laws.

Switzerland is probably your best bet.  Their laws are actually more lenient in many regards than here in the U.S.

Estonia also is fairly lenient by European standards. You have to jump through a few more hoops, but after that it's pretty much the same deal. Concealed carry with a permit is allowed, but only with an empty chamber (I think), open carry is not a thing. It's certainly free of any NFA or RCMP bullshitery.

 

Add to that a growing and healthy economy, lower taxes than here in Germany, and you've got yourself a pretty sweet deal if you ever want to get out of Germany.

Yikes.  I'm glad we don't have to jump through those kinds of hoops here in the US (though the Democrats sure try hard to make it happen).  In truth, there should be no restrictions whatsoever on gun ownership/carrying, due to the way the 2nd amendment is written ('shall not be infringed', apparently doesn't mean the same today as 241 years ago).

 

In some states, there are no restrictions (not even on conceal carry) so long as you don't have a criminal record that would bar you from possession of a firearm.  Where I live, you need a permit to buy a handgun (none for rifles), but it's just a $5 processing fee and a standard background check, then it's good for 3 years.  The Conceal Carry permit is a bit more intensive (requires a mandatory training by a licensed instructor, along with certification at a shooting range by said instructor), but I'm still betting it's easier than what they have to go through.

 

And limited to 100 rounds of ammo?  I can burn through that in one day at the shooting range.

Sure, but at least after that there is no more bullshit, like NFA sillyness or the RCMP getting their panties in a bunch and taking it out on gun owners and retailers.

Gunna get my gun license as soon as my course is done in 1.5 weeks.

Its just too much time to devote to it right at the moment.

They want 4 hours both days back to back. 6 to 10pm.

The upside is its free and I dont have to pay anything, unlike everyone else want a minimum of $200.

I want to go hunting and target shooting.

But I seriously do not want a gun in my house.

That is my dilemma. Target range I can rent guns.

But hunting, I dunno.

Plus I do not want no background check, or be on a list. So if I do buy a gun, I will buy it from a farmer or flea market.

RCMP pigs were horrible for smashing in doors and taking guns away when the floods came.

They think they are above the law.

They think that way because of their ego. That is why they abuse and harrass and molest their female members. Its a big problem with every section of the country.

 

I want to hunt bear, moose and deer. My first kills will be kept and stuffed then hung on my wall. Then I will fly to Africa and hunt more exotic animals there, whether it be on a hunting ranch or out in the wild.

Decided to finally post in here lol. My favourite gun rn is the Lee Enfield No.4 Mark 1.

Its such a nice gun and its so nice to do drill with lol. Better than the trashy plastic ones the DND gives out now lol. We own a Benelli Nova 12 guage and a few .22s but my dad and I are yet to try them out but hopefully we can go to the range soon. Im a decent shot with a 853c in .177 so I think Ill do decent with .22s

I love that little Kershaw. It's heavy enough to use as a real utility knife, but cheap enough that I won't (maybe) cry like an eight year old girl if I lose it.
