[Finished] Simple Stryker

She is now finished and is ready for university  :D. I expect these components to last me through university, hopefully (No monies :( ).

CPU: Intel 4670K @4.6

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus HERO

RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill TridentX 2400Mhz C10

GPU: MSI 7870 ASUS GTX 780 DCUII MSI R9 290 GAMING

HDD: 1TB Samsung Drive, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 500GB Samsung 840 EVO

PSU: Corsair TX750M (Overkill I know, but it was on offer)

Case: CM Storm Stryker

CPU Cooler: Corsair H110

Yeah, it doesn't normally look like that. I had to put a light source on the PC due to my crappy Nexus 4 camera. <_<

Update time  :D

 

So i recently got my hands on a Samsung 840 250GB and i wasn't happy with the mess of the extra cables. So i did something about it

I used double sided velcro to attach the SSD to the case and then i routed the cables through some holes. It was a tight fit.

I then set about the hard drive. To make my plan work i had to mount it upside down.

The power cable went happily through the top hole for the IO cables to come through. The data cable was too short so i removed 2 little prongs so it would fit.

The end result is something i am happy with :)

really nice, great job, love the simplistic and tidy look, and even that case is starting to grow on me :)

Well the GTX 780 had a bad fan which took ages to get refunded. So instead i bought an MSI R9-290 GAMING on sale. Photos below.
