What would be your monitor weapon of choice?

PeggersXtreme
Go to solution Solved by Praesi,

Oops I should have specified what I meant like is it accurate being IPS I guess it is good. I'm also wondering if 144hz will help stop me getting sore eyes

The Colours on the IPS Panel are superior.

Only Displays for Graphicdesigner are better and those cost 2000$.-10.000$ and are not meant for Gaming.

I just can repeat myself. The Colours are sharp and natural, The Picture is smooth and there is no tearing anymore. No tearing at all.

I customized the Display settings to this and everything is perfect.

Cant say much more. Only 21:9 with the same speccs would be better, but since such a Display does not exist, we have to wait some more i guess.

With your GPU´s you will have awesome visuals and awesome performance.

4K isnt worth it for me atm. Im want great performance and not game with 30 fps or turn settings down. 1440p is the perfect sweetspot.

No. Just order  @ alternate.co.uk

Its their UK Store.

it's a nice display much better looking in person than on the product page or in videos.

Amazon has dropped the price of the XB270HU to £530 that makes it cheaper than the ROG swift here now lol and also I see alternate has removed the Predator X34 from their website. Still waiting for my refund from amazon then I shall probably order from alternate :)

Ya Alternate does this all the time.

If a Product has Problems, they kick it from sale till its resolved. They send the first xb270hu batch back to Acer because of the BLB. Acer were stupid to let their reputation get hurt by very bad QC in the first Place. They should have wait. Their xb270hu are now top but many people still think otherwise and wait for Asus. But im sure Asus will have Problems too. Their first Gsync TN Panels had some serious shit going on too.

Asus are no better I originally bought a MG279Q Freesync 144hz IPS monitor as I was originally going to get two FuryX's but they just didn't turn out to be what they were hyped and that monitor had a big patch of dead pixels in the middle and very bad IPS glow I would take Acer over Asus any day of the week :)

Well, you had a sneak peek on the xb270hu and know what you awaits :P

Crazy that People preorder Asus Displays which will be released in December. I would never preorder a Monitor. God know´s what you will get.
