What would be your monitor weapon of choice?

PeggersXtreme
Go to solution Solved by Praesi,

Oops I should have specified what I meant like is it accurate being IPS I guess it is good. I'm also wondering if 144hz will help stop me getting sore eyes

The Colours on the IPS Panel are superior.

Only Displays for Graphicdesigner are better and those cost 2000$.-10.000$ and are not meant for Gaming.

I just can repeat myself. The Colours are sharp and natural, The Picture is smooth and there is no tearing anymore. No tearing at all.

I customized the Display settings to this and everything is perfect.

Cant say much more. Only 21:9 with the same speccs would be better, but since such a Display does not exist, we have to wait some more i guess.

With your GPU´s you will have awesome visuals and awesome performance.

4K isnt worth it for me atm. Im want great performance and not game with 30 fps or turn settings down. 1440p is the perfect sweetspot.

that's pricey when you can get a 4k ips panel for 500$ or less

UK prices are inflated and have 20% VAT tax kind of sucks

Those are some nice monitors but it's still 60hz I currently have a HP W2207 which is a 1680x1050 16:10 TN 60 hz display and whilst I don't notice any lag or tearing its probably because I'm so use to 60hz only tried 144hz once and whilst I noticed a big difference on day to day desktop tasks in game I didn't notice any massive difference I am always capped at 60fps using Adaptive V-sync my personal favourite over straight V-sync

I use the stand. Asus´s Design looks better, but Acer´s stand look better in RL as in Videos. I deceided the buy only because of the Display itself.

Ok the answer to this last question might be the decider, Is the Acer suitable for content creation as in colours etc. the LG looks absolutely amazing but doesn't have any real eye popping specs other than 3440x1440

again, there IS a noticeable difference, but in my opinion 60hz remains fine. If I were you I'd try 144hz somewhere and see fot yourself if it's worth more than 4k to you.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

UK, I'm going to test G-sync out for a couple hours then make a decision on what to do. Is it bad that I didn't notice any difference going from 24hz to 60hz to 144hz on GTA V lol

The Screen it self is nice and the bezels don't look as bad as people say.

Alternate send all old Displays back. The second batch is top. My Monitor is 100% fine, you can trust me on that. Just RMA and buy at alternate. Germanys Alternate is super. See no Reason UK´s should be different.

I might just do that, I will look at their return policy first though just in case because shipping to Europe from UK is expensive so need to check they cover return costs if there is any problems.

Ok, sorry for slow reply I was just trying CS GO out before I RMA to see the 144hz in action and I got a bit carried away got a 15 kill streak which I have never done before don't know if that had anything to do with the monitor but this time I was shooting first when I saw people.
