Best mAtx board?

well if you want to sli then the gene .z97m plus only supports xfire

then again if you don`t want to sli/fire even the cheapest z97m is good

also i5 6600K is out. so is the VIII gene

Hi!

So I'm building an mAtx gaming build and wondering which motherboard will be the best for me or best overall.

The mobo's I've been looking at are the asus z97 gryphon (armored), asus z97 rog gene and the asus z97m plus.
I'm going to be using an i5-4690k  and will probably sli/xfire in the future (haven't really decided gpu yet).

Thanks in advance!

You may look at the Asrock Z97m OC Formula, it is cheaper than the Asus ROG MoBos but still supports SLI. Probavly you will finde one one sale now because of skylake.

Edit: SLI / CF is a bit tricky on mATX, since the cards will be next th each other, and most will be starving for air. Consider a blower design, or get a Furry X :)

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil
