Just wanted to share a little positive experience that I had with this UK based tech retailer.

 

About a 2 weeks ago my 7950 died on me, I only got around to requesting an RMA from Overclockers last Monday. They arranged for my 7950 to be collected from my house the next day. By Wednesday they had confirmed that the product was faulty and the replacement arrived on Thursday morning. So from raising the RMA to receiving a replacement took less than 4 days.

 

Not to exciting, just though I would share the experience of how well they handled things

 

Ps With my replacement 7950 they also included a pack of Haribo :)

I've used overclockers uk before and they were very good, fast delivery. only thing i will say is you can usually get the items cheaper at scan.co.uk or watercooling uk.

Lol the haribo. I keep seeing re-tweets from them from customers showing off their haribo rather than what they've actually bought from them!

 

I've bought a few bits and bobs from them, no problems whatsoever!  :D

I like SCAN's website but I have had a few negative experiences with ordering from them unfortunately.

I buy 99% of my stuff on OCUK now. If you are a loyal forum member you get free next day delivery on everything too which is awesome! Overclockers UK are a really good company! Had no problems, I ordered an item that was actually out of stock, they deeply apologised and refunded me my money straight away without any problems! The delivery is very quick too, plus, that Haribo is great! ;)

Maybe two years ago my brother and I where in one and we asked someone if they sold SSD's. They replied "no, it's a new technology" T_T (at this point I already had two OCZ agility 3's!)

That’s what was odd, they had a handful of previous gen low end cards but they also had one Asus 7770 and one Asus 7870.

 They actually sell motherboards, CPU's, video cards and even a corsair water cooler. Kind of odd right considering the type of customers who normally shop at curry’s or PC world compared to the type of customer who is building a gaming PC.

I know what they sell just the fans have been the first thing that would be worth getting in pc world.

These days they have hardly anything in stock. They can always order it in for you, but whats the point, your aswell just going to a site such as overclockers and getting the product on next day delivery....I am surprised they are still in business, when i left they where on the verge of going under.
